Hey guys! I’m excited to share the Farrah Blouse with you. There’s actually a dress version I’m dying to try. I have an unhealthy obsession with this feminine ruffle sleeve detail.
I also love the yoke that this top features. You could do some cool color blocking with this design. Did I mention that there’s a tank option too? It’s super cute!
I’ve been wearing mine tucked in lately, but the hem is high-low and has a side slit. Now let’s talk fabric a little. I found this fabric in an old cardboard box at Michael Levine Loft. They sell there odds and ends for $3 a pound, so this light weight (rayon I believe) fabric cost me about 50 cents. As soon as I saw the fabric I knew it was going to be a Farrah!
Overall I love this top. Next time I think I’ll widen the ruffle a little bit, and maybe add a secret tiny cap sleeve under it for a bit more coverage.
Thanks for reading and I hope you get excited about making this ruffle sleeved beauty!
